Um. Spoilers?

Just got back from the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. And, let me just say, WOW. Sure, they missed some of the minor stuff I would've liked to have seen, but dang. Much, much better than Order of Phoenix and a HELLUVA lot better than that shit Goblet of Fire.

So I sat in line for about two hours after I gave them my ticket, and it wasn't too bad because there was this couple in front of us who were very friendly xD After that, I wound up sitting next to this big family, two of the daughters I knew from school and they're crazy and fuuuunny. I sat next to the mom >.> She was more fun than MY mom to talk to.

So then of course the previews started. Blah, blah...But. What's this? Cloaked figure entering the Empire State Building? Cloaked figure turns out to be a little kid? At this point, I was like NO FRICKIN' WAY. Then the little kid puts in a key, and the elevator goes ZOOOOOOM to the 600th floor or sommut. So I started freaking out. Lemme explain why:

I had JUST finished the book this movie is based on. Earlier that day. And I was JUST thinking how awesome a movie it'd make. Let me just get my fangirl glee out of the way right now: SQUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! PERCY JACKSON!!!!!! THE LIGHTNING THEIF!! SQUUUUUUUEEEE!!!
Mkay.

And now, on to the actual movie.

Not only was it very dramatic(not overly, thank Gods), but it was very funny and it kept true to the book mainly. There was some things that were changed, of course, but I found I didn't really mind all that much. One thing that DID severely piss me off...Dumbledore didn't get his funeral. I was looking forward to that part very much and then the credits start rolling. I noticed a few other people were like WTF also. Pissed. Me. Off. It could have been sooo good too...

I have to agree with something said a few days ago. That actor for Cormac McLaggen was kinda hot >.> And the actor for Lavender Brown...*shudder* She sure plays a creepy stalker girlfriend entirely too well. And btw, what was up with the Burrow randomly being attacked? Did not want, but meh...

Dumbledore's death scene was handled well. When he said "Severus. Please." I really got that feeling he was putting into it. And of course, when they're all standing around the body, that was goood too. I like Harry's crying, it seemed real :3 And when Minerva started with the raising of the Lumos lit wand...Wasn't in the book, but I liked that part.

A part that WAS in the book but WASN'T in the movie, was the chase through the castle and all the drama surrounding that. Like when that one Hufflepuff was like "WUT I HERD THER WUZ FIGHTIN' HARRY" and Harry was just like "GTFO NOOB". Made me sad poor Bill didn't even get his screen time. Jeez, mauled by a rabid werewolf and he still gets ignored. Fleur wasn't there either...The Harry/Ginny Get-Together scene was horridly sappy as well. Another part not in the movie was Moaning Murtle. She makes me lol >.> Also, the Draco Vs. Harry fight was good up until he Sectumsempra'd him. We didn't even get to see a bloody chest being mended And no Roonil Wazlib!! XD

But all in all I loved this movie. George wants to see it so when he gets back to the state I think I'll be going agin. Seriously, it didn't even seem like it took 3 hours...

I sure will miss all of the Pottermainia once the movies are done.
